Kroger Health Bringing COVID-19 Testing Sights to DFW

DALLAS/FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- As the number of COVID-19 cases in DFW continues to rise, Kroger has announced plans to expand its free drive thru testing model to Dallas and Fort Worth.

The south Dallas location will begin operation May 9th while the Fort Worth spot will begin testing May 7th. Each sight plan to perform over 1000 test each week.

“COVID-19 testing is critical to public health and our economic recovery plans,” said City of Dallas Mayor, Eric Johnson. “I am thrilled that Kroger has stepped up to provide more public testing, and I am particularly pleased that the company selected a site in South Dallas, which will be a boon to our historically undeserved residents who are especially vulnerable to this pandemic.”
