(WBAP/KLIF) CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Adrian Gonzales, a former Uvalde school police officer has been found not guilty after a jury deliberated over seven hours.
Gonzales had been accused of abandoning or endangering children during the 2022 mass shooting at Robb Elementary that killed 19 kids and two teachers. The trial lasted 2 weeks.
Gonzales’ attorney Nico Lahood said his team spoke to the jury and they told him they saw gaps in the evidence.
The incident was one of the deadliest mass shootings in U-S history.
