State Leaders Have Assigned Members to a Committee Investigating Flooding in Central Texas

(WBAP/KLIF) – AUSTIN, TX – House Speaker Dustin Burrows and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick have named members to the committee investigating the deadly July 4th floods that killed 135 people. The panels were created are made up of 5 senators and 5 state representatives. The committee will look into the tragic incident at Camp Mystic that took the lives of 27 girls and counselors, and how Texas can better prepare for future disasters.
