
(WBAP/KLIF) – NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – At a city council meeting in North Richland Hills, officials discussed new zoning and registration regulations for short term rental properties. Residents also raised concerns about safety, noise, and parking issues. The city council passed new regulations requiring annual permits, property inspections, occupancy and parking restrictions, and noise limitations. Property owners operating short term rentals will also be required to pay a hotel occupancy tax. The city can revoke permits for breaking any of the newly passed regulations.
