(WBAP/KLIF) – AUSTIN, TX – All schools receive an A through F score based on student achievement, school progress, and how the schools plan close the learning gap for students with additional needs. Highland Park ISD has the highest score of 96, followed by Southlake Carol I-S-D with a score of 95. Lake Worth ISD is at the bottom of the list with a score of 62, and is facing a possible takeover by the state. Administrators with Lake Worth I-S-D have acknowledged the poor grades, and stated that they’re committed to improving the district across all grade levels, and have a plan in place to do it.
