The Texas Senate Is Doubling Down With Its Attempt To Ban Hemp-Derived THC.

(WBAP/KLIF) – AUSTIN, TX – Last month, Governor Abbott vetoed a bill that would have banned THC from consumable hemp products, and told lawmakers to come up with a way to regulate the industry. If passed Senate Bill 5 would ban products containing any detectable amount of any cannabinoid, creating criminal offenses for possession of hemp-derived THC. While many law enforcement officials are calling for an outright ban of T-H-C products, retailers argue that a ban will punish businesses that have been following the law for years.
