The U.S. Army is marking its 250th birthday with a military parade including roughly 6,600 troops, 150 vehicles, and over 50 aircraft.  The parade, which coincides with President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday, is designed to tell the history of the Army. A massive military parade has been held to celebrate the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, requested by President Donald Trump to coincide with his birthday. Tanks and troops rolled through Washington D.C. on Saturday, where the rain held to a slight drizzle but low clouds seem to contribute to fewer aircraft. Nationwide, opponents of the president’s agenda rallied in hundreds of cities for “No Kings” protests. And just as the parade was underway, police in Los Angeles were firing clouds of tear gas and flash bangs to try to disperse protesters challenging immigration raids.
