A massive military parade has been held to celebrate the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, requested by President Donald Trump to coincide with his birthday. Tanks and troops rolled through Washington D.C. on Saturday, where the rain held to a slight drizzle but low clouds seem to contribute to fewer aircraft. Nationwide, opponents of the president’s agenda rallied in hundreds of cities for “No Kings” protests. And just as the parade was underway, police in Los Angeles were firing clouds of tear gas and flash bangs to try to disperse protesters challenging immigration raids.
