(WBAP/KLIF) — A new aviation leader has been chosen for Dallas Love Field.
43-year-old Patrick Carreno has officially been promoted to Director of Aviation to oversee operations at Love Field, Dallas Vertiport, and Dallas Executive Airport. Carreno has been serving as interim director since November of last year and said he’s excited to continue the work accomplished during his interim period.
The 43-year-old comes with 20 years experience in the aviation industry, most recently as the Assistant Director of Operations prior to his service as Interim Director. Carreno says he’s excited to continue his work, including helping develop a terminal area master plan for the next two decades.
Carreno replaces former director Mark Duebner, who retired in November of 2022 after 21 years at the post.
