
Monrovia, CA (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Trader Joe’s recalled two of its cookie products after discovering they may contain rocks.
The items of concern are its Almond Windmill Cookies with a SKU#98744 and a sell by date between October 19 and 21st, and the Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies with SKU#82752 and a sell by date from October 17 through the 21st.
Trader Joe’s did not reveal how rocks may have contaminated the batches. However, all affected products have been removed from store shelves.
The recall notices urged customers who bought the cookies to either throw them out or return them to the store for a full refund.
