
Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) The Red Oak School Board has taken steps to fire a new incoming teacher who was arrested on child sex trafficking charges by Dallas police last week.
38-year old Gershon Caston had been on track to start teaching at Red Oak Middle School before being busted along with three others on multiple charges.
According to arrest affidavits obtained by WFAA-TV, the victim was taken to Caston’s home, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her multiple times, gave her drugs and alcohol and forced her to engage in commercial sex. According to the station, Caston had been recently hired by Red Oak ISD in Ellis County to start teaching and coaching in the fall of 2023. Records from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) revealed that from 2014 to 2023 the 38-year-old had taught at Dallas, DeSoto, Duncanville, Garland, Irving and Lancaster independent school districts.
He had been hired by Red Oak ISD in Ellis County for a teaching and coaching position this year.

Lamorris Hudspeth, 47, for aggravated sexual assault of a child
Amber Gords, 30, for compelling prostitution under 18 and trafficking of a child
Adairus Staples, 33, for aggravated sexual assault of a child, trafficking of a child and compelling prostitution under 18
Gershon Caston, 38, for aggravated sexual assault of a child, trafficking of child and compelling prostitution under 18
