Garland Police Capture Scooter Murder Suspect; Still Searching for Another

(WBAP/KLIF) — Garland police have captured one of two suspect in last week’s scooter murder.

Detectives investigating the shooting death of 33-year-old Brisen Dewayne Dunn and wounding of another man took Jesus Roberto Trevino into custody, Wednesday morning, after he turned himself in.

Trevino is being held on a $1-million bond for murder and a $750,000 bond for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Garland Police Lieutenant Richard Maldonado says they only have a picture of a second suspect captured on a nearby surveillance camera and still need the public’s help in identifying him.

Garland Detectives have identified Jesus Roberto Trevino as a person of interest in the July 18 murder of Brisen Dewayne Dunn, which occurred in the 3300 block of South Shiloh Road. Trevino currently has warrants for Murder and Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and is being sought.

Garland Detectives are also asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a second unknown subject seen below. This subject was seen leaving the area of 11438 LBJ Freeway, just inside of the Dallas city limits, on the day of the offense.
