Excessive Heat Advisory Goes into Effect at 8 PM Thursday

NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Excessive Heat Warning remains in Effect for north Texas until 8 PM Thursday night and an Excessive Heat Advisory will be in effect from 8 PM Thursday until 8 PM Friday.

Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 105 degrees and heat index values up to 110 degrees and higher are expected.

Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. If you have to be outside you are encouraged to take frequent breaks and stay well hydrated.
