Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A police chase in South Fort Wworth resulted in a multi-vehicle crash that left an innocent motorist dead and two suspects behind bars.
Police say officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle Thursday evening when the suspect driver took off and continued to evade police even after stop sticks deflated a tire.
The chase continued through an intersection on Rosedale Street and Evans Avenue where a vehicle collided with the police SUV, ejecting the driver who died on the scene. The police vehicle also hit a second vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was treated on the scene. The officer was not hurt.
The suspect vehicle eventually came to a stop a block away from the crash. Ppolice say two suspects tried to run off but both taken into custody.
