Excessive Heat Warning in Effect until Wednesday Night

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect until 8 PM Wednesday with heat index values of 110-120 degrees. The warning was extended on Monday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, this heat is dangerous and precautions should be taken.

Health experts encourage drinking plenty of water, avoid extended time outdoors, and know the signs of heat related illness.
