Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – The FBI has arrested a Texas businessman at the center of the scandal that led to the impeachment of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. Nate Paul was booked into an Austin jail Thursday afternoon. It was not clear at his booking what charges Paul faces. The jail records say only that he is being held on a federal detainer. Paul’s entanglements with Paxton were at the center of the GOP led Texas House of Representatives’ overwhelming vote to impeach Paxton last month.
