NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – A suspected drunk driver is facing several charges after allegedly leading North Richland Hills police on a car chase that ended with a house fire Saturday night.
Investigators said officers tried to pull over 37-year-old Daniel Laseman around 11 p.m. but he took off and led them on a short chase on Hightower drive.
He eventually crashed into a house near Meadow Creek Road and his car burst into flames. The flames spread to the house.
No one in the home was injured and firefighters extinguished the blaze.
Laseman is charged with driving while intoxicated and evading arrest.
