DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) -Southwest Airlines pilots have voted to go on strike. Voting on the strike authorization started earlier this month and was supposed to last through the end of the month, but 99 percent of pilots who have cast votes have voted in favor or the move.
Pilots have been in contract talks with the Dallas based company since 2020.
The authorization vote does not mean a strike will take place, but that pilots are in favor of it.
They have to get federal approval before a strike can actually take place.
