(WBAP/KLIF) — A ring of car burglaries by a group of armed suspects has Tarrant county police departments on full alert.

21-year-old Quanterrious Lee Quantrell Royal is wanted for shooting a man in White Settlement, for a large shooting in Fort Worth, and in connection to armed car burglaries in Saginaw. White Settlement Police Chief Chris Cook says the suspect is believed to be the gunman who shot a resident in the leg during a car burglary on April 30th. They identified the man after he fled the scene with three other suspects and dropped his cell phone in the process. Royal is also wanted on several felony charges in Fort Worth and White Settlement. Cook cautions residents to call police, as the 21-year-old suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
Police also have reports that Royal has changed his appearance by cutting his hair. A reward has been offered for information leading to his capture and conviction.
