Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Rangers are one of four major league baseball teams that have extended alcohol sales at their home games. The first days of the new baseball season have found the games moving faster because of the new pitch clock. Fans seem to like it, with one notable exception. As the game gets faster, there’s less time for them to settle back with a nice, cold beer. That means the vendors are selling less beer, so the stadia and making less money. The Rangers, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Minnesota Twins and the Milwaukee Brewers have risen to the challenge. Each team has extended beer sales through the eighth inning. All four teams had historically stopped selling alcohol after the seventh inning.
