TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Governor Greg Abbott has directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to prepare emergency response resources because of storms with high winds, hail and flooding that hit north Texas Thursday afternoon.
Tornado Warnings were issued for most of north Texas including Tarrant and Dallas Counties. There were reports of golf ball to baseball sized hail across the metroplex.
At the height of the storm more than 43,000 customers were without power. Oncor Electric Delivery had crews on standby in anticipate of outages.
