Collin County (WBAP/KLIF) – TxDOT held its last public hearing on it’s Highway 380 project in Collin County last night.
The agency’s’ “preferred alternative” plan would transform the rarely-used high occupancy vehicle lanes of US 75 between LBJ and Allen into a one-of-a-kind “Technology Lanes.”
The lanes would be open to all vehicles except during the morning and evening rush Monday through Friday when high-occupancy vehicles, low emission and electric vehicles can use the lanes.
A final decision on the project is expected by year’s end.
