Additional TEXRail Spaces Available for Long-Term Holiday Parking

NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – TEXRail’s long-term parking options have been increased to accommodate riders traveling to DFW Airport for their holiday destinations.

Thanksgiving week is peak travel time and parking lots will fill up more quickly as holiday travel ramps up.

System Vice President and COO AJ Arjanen said five TEXRail stations will have an additional fifteen spaces on top of the twenty available spots.

“The new spots are available at the Fort Worth T&P, Northside, Marcantile Center, North Richland Hills Iron Horse and North Richland Hills Smithfield stations,” he said.

Customers can make reservations and payments on the Ace Parking app for Apple or GooglePlay.

“It costs $5 a day with a $1.50 convenience fee for the one-time transaction,” said Arjanen.

TEXRail is asking riders to allow an extra 10 minutes to find parking when utilizing one of their parking lots and to arrive at their respective ticket counter two hours prior to scheduled departures.

The increased spots will be offered through January 8.
