$10,000 Reward Offered for Information Leading to Arrest of Suspect Connected to Grand Prairie Officer’s Death

GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Grand Prairie Police Department has announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect connected to the death of one of its officers this week.

Officer Brandon Paul Tsai was killed Monday night when his patrol car hit a pole during a chase with a suspect.

He attempted to stop the car with fake paper tags near the intersection of Southwest 3rd and Pioneer Parkway when the suspect took off.

Since news of Tsai’s death broke, Grand Prairie Police Chief Daniel Scesney said there’s been an outpouring of support.

“Not all police department’s enjoy that level of support from its citizens. I can tell you that your Grand Prairie Police officers are eternally grateful for that support,” he said.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a 2012 to 2016 silver Chevy Malibu with black steel rims and paint damage to the passenger side.
