(WBAP/KLIF) — With early-voting coming to an end on Saturday, election officials are impressed with Mid-Term Election turnout.
Denton County Republican Party Executive Director Sina Tidwell believes a Red Wave is appearing at county polling stations. Denton county voters are keying in on three local races on November 8th, Election Day. Those races include State Representative District 65, Justice of the Peace Precinct 6, and County Commissioner Precinct 2.
Tidwell says the Republican candidate for County Commissioner Precinct 2 is Kevin Faulkner, a former mayor of Carrollton. Faulkner faces off against Democratic challenger Diana Weitzel during the Mid-Term Election.
