CARROLLTON (WBAP/KLIF) – The Carrollton Police Department is saying goodbye this week to the first officer in the Department’s history to be killed on duty.
Officer Steve Nothem was killed when he was hit inside his patrol car while working a DWI investigation earlier this month.
Visitation for the fallen Officer is planned for Wednesday.
A funeral service is set for Thursday afternoon at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. The service is closed to the public. A private burial will follow.
A procession will move from Prestonwood Baptist toward Celina after the service ends.
