(WBAP/KLIF) — MedStar paramedics are often called out to some of the most difficult scenes involving medical emergencies. However, once each year during Halloween, EMT’s engage in a labor of love for medically challenged children.
For the past nine years, Medstar has brought joy into the lives of children suffering from severe, life-altering medical challenges as the mobile healthcare provider operates an annual Trick or Treat Event that takes children and families out in a Medstar ambulance to enjoy a night to remember.
Spokesman Matt Zavadsky says the organization’s paramedics enter their requests to participate in the program long in advance.
