Arlington Music Hall Hosts “United for Uvalde” Concert Thursday Night to Raise Money for Victim’s Families

ARLINGTON(WBAP/KLIF News ) – Nine Texas country artists will perform at the Arlington Music Hall Thursday night to benefit the families of the victims of the Uvalde mass shooting.

Scott Bragg is the general manager of the venue and said the concert was born out of the desire for North Texans to have an avenue to help out the survivors of the tragedy that claimed the lives of 19 children and two teachers.

“Mainly because the distance sometimes we feel disconnected other than just the news media. So it’s a great opportunity for have something local that people can feel connected to and say ‘hey, I can do something’,” he said.

Featured artists include Ariel Hutchins, Case Hardin, Darrin Morris, Gary Kyle, James Nored, Jamie Richards, James Lann, Mo Robson, Ryder Grimes, Tanner Sparks, Randy Brown and Steve Helms.

Mellow Mushroom will be catering the event and the Crown Plaza Hotel is providing accommodations for artists and crew at no charge.

Tickets are $20. The concert runs from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at 224 N Center Street.
