DUNCANVILLE (WBAP/KLIF News ) – A youth summer camp in Duncanville was disrupted Monday morning due to an incident nearby involving a man with a gun.
Police said no children were hurt after officers confronted the armed man who ran inside the Duncanville Field House.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was shot and killed by officers.
“The building has been cleared. The reunification center for parents and children is at Duncanville Rec Center,” said a police spokeswoman.
The rec center located at 201 James Collins Boulevard.
Investigators are looking into what led the man to run inside the rec center.
