Governors Association To Address Mass Shootings

Little Rock (WBAP/KLIF) – The National Governors Association says it’s forming a working group of governors to come up with recommendations to stop mass shootings such as the Uvalde school massacre. The Republican governor of Arkansas and the Democratic governor of New Jersey are forming the group. They want six to ten governors on their panel, and say the focus will be on a bi-partisan approach to school safety. The statement of their intentions left open the possibility any recommendations they develop could include gun control proposals.
