FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Fort Worth Police Officer and charged him with domestic violence. The incident happened when the officer was off duty.

Fort Worth Police identified the officer as Victor Rucker who has been with the department for seven years and assigned to the West Division Patrol.

“Officer Rucker has been placed on restricted duty and stripped of all police powers during the course of the ongoing criminal and administrative investigations,” according to a statement from Fort Worth Police.

The department says it holds its officers to a high standard both on and off-duty and does not tolerate criminal misconduct.
