Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Fort Worth Police are investigating an early morning, fatal, hit-and-run accident. The body of a woman was found about 3:00 A.M. Monday, lying in the eastbound lanes of the intersection of East Freeway and Eastchase Parkway. She had been run over by several vehicles, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Fort Worth Police say a possible suspect turned up a short time later seeking treatment at a local hospital. That person has been detained. The dead woman will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
