Dallas’ Strip Club Restrictions Have Been Restricted

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A new Dallas ordinance has been blocked by a federal judge. Judge Barbara Lynn has ordered the city of Dallas to temporarily not enforce a new city ordinance regulating sexually oriented businesses. Judge Lynn ruled the police statistics that were cited as justification for ordering strip clubs and other similar businesses to close between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM were fundamentally flawed, and did not properly justify the restrictions. The Dallas City Council unanimously passed that ordinance in January.
