Louisiana (WBAP/KLIF) – A federal judge has temporarily blocked the White House’s effort to lift Title 42 at the end of May.
Title 42 is a pandemic authority that denies migrants entry to stop diseases from spreading. Texas Congressman Brian Babin tells “Fox and Friends” it should stay in place.
Meantime, ore than 100 House Republicans sent a letter to D-H-S Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas asking him to strengthen border control policies. T
he C-D-C says Title 42 is longer needed, and the White House says that its purpose was always to address public health – not immigration.
