
DUBLIN (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Texas Rangers are asking the public to help catch a suspect in the recent murder of a woman in Erath County.
60-year-old Jesus Manuel Deleon is accused of fatally shooting the victim at her home in the 400 block of West Valley Street in Dublin on Sunday, March 27.
Dublin is about 90 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Witnesses told police Deleon was allegedly seen driving away from the woman’s home in a black Fort F-150 pickup truck that was later found abandoned in Hamilton County on Monday March 28.
The victim’s identity has not been released. Deleon is considered armed and dangerous.
The Texas Rangers are advising citizens who encounter Deleon to avoid approaching him themselves and instead contact law enforcement.
