One Arrested, Another on the Loose in Theft of Amazon Vans

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Police Department said on Tuesday that five Amazon vans recently stolen in the city have been found. So have one of the two suspects.

According to DPD, on March 25, Southeast Patrol’s CRT Team located 42-year-old Nakemia Bryant on the 2900 block of Cottonwood Lane, arresting her on an outstanding warrant for Driving While Intoxicated out of Balch Springs. Bryant was interviewed by Dallas PD’s Financial Crimes Unit-Organized Retail Crime Squad, confessing to her involvement in all five Amazon van thefts, and provided detectives with the identity of the second suspect, 36-year-old Mical Ford.

On March 26, detectives executed a search warrant at Bryant’s home and found numerous opened Amazon boxes addressed to other residences, according to Police.

Dallas Police are currently looking for Ford, and asking for the public’s help in locating him for his involvement in stealing the trucks.
