President Biden Meets with Veterans in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – President Biden met with veterans at the VA Clinic in Fort Worth on Tuesday afternoon.

Air Force One landed at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The President’s agenda had him speaking with veterans, caregivers, and survivors about addressing the health effects of environmental exposures such as burn pits. The President stopped by the Fort Worth VA Clinic to receive a briefing on their primary care and specialty health services for veterans.

The President later delivered remarks at Tarrant County Resource Connection on expanding access to health care and benefits for veterans effected by environmental exposures during military service as part of his Unity Agenda for the Nation.

Before leaving the White House for DFW on Tuesday, President Biden announced a ban on Russian oil imports as war rages in Ukraine.
