(WBAP/KLIF) – Former President Trump hinted at a potential 2024 Presidential bid on Friday when he joined the WBAP Morning News.
“If I had it to do again, maybe I will” said Trump. “You will be among the first to know. You guys have been great and we appreciate it.”
President Trump indicated that his first term as President surprised him in some ways.
“I had two jobs,” said Trump. “Number one was to run the country and the second job was to survive. It was survival.”
He said he was the target of unfounded investigations, and unfairly criticized for doing a good job as President.
The former President was critical of current Republican leadership in Congress.
“I’m not a fan of Mitch McConnell, Trump said. “Now I’m seeing where he gave the debt ceiling away. That’s the best negotiating block we have for anything and we wouldn’t have to use it. The Democrats would have folded on the build back worse plan.”
President Trump will be in Dallas December 19 for ‘The History Tour with Bill O’Reilly.’ He told the WBAP Morning News he looks forward to returning to Texas.
