Collin County Man Sentenced For Early Morning Break-In

McKinney (WBAP/KLIF) – A 54 year old man has been sentenced to 99 years in prison for breaking into a Wylie home, and stabbing the resident and his dog. A jury found Thong Pham guilty of breaking into Taylor Newsom’s home early in the morning March 26. Newsom’s dog, Marley, barked an alarm, and Newsom confronted Pham inside his home. There was a fight. Marley jumped in to help her owner, and Pham stabbed both of them, then ran from the house. Police found him hiding in a nearby creek. Newsom and Marley recovered from their injuries.
