Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – A majority of Americans support the US Supreme court upholding its landmark decision in Roe v. Wade guaranteeing a constitutional right to abortion.
A new ABC News / Washington Post poll finds that 60% percent of Americans say Roe v. Wade should be upheld, while 27% say it should be overturned.
The poll also found that a majority of Americans are opposed to a Texas law banning most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.
The high court is scheduled to hear arguments next month on a Mississippi law that would ban most abortions after 15 weeks … the case is seen as a direct challenge to Roe.
