Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – In a case that has rocked North Texas for years, jury selection begins today in the trial of accused serial killer Billy Chemirmir.
Prosecutors say Chemirmir targeted elderly woman living in nursing homes by smothering them and robbing them of their jewelry. He faces 18 total capital murder charges.
Opening statements are expected to begin on Monday.
