
Texas (WBAP/KLIF) Texas voters gave resounding thumbs up to all eight changes to the Texas Constitution.
Two of the propositions are pandemic-related including Prop 3 which bans governmental restrictions on religious services during a pandemic; and,Prop 6 which allows nursing home residents to designate an essential caregiver who can not be denied visitation during a pandemic.
Also passing;
Proposition 1 which allows Professional rodeo organizations to to hold charity raffles at during events.
Proposition 2 authorizes counties to issue bonds to fund transportation and infrastructure projects in neglected or underdeveloped areas.
Proposition 4 strengthens eligibility requirements for certain judicial candidates.
Proposition 5 allows the State Commission on Judicial Conduct to take complaints, conduct investigations and take other action against a candidate running for state judicial offices.
Proposition 7 allows a surviving spouse (55 or older) of a person who is disabled and receiving homestead exemptions on school district property taxes to continue to take advantage of the exemption.
Proposition 8 extends tax exemptions to a surviving spouse of a member of the military who dies because of any injuries sustained during their service.

In Fort Worth, voters rejected 3 OF 4 bond proposals for FWISD, and squeaking by with a 42-vote margin was the main bond issue for the district.
Proposition A provides over $1.2-billion to renovate middle schools and build new elementary schools.
Bond issues that failed targeted renovations to school auditoriums and gyms and the construction of 3 small community sports venues.
In Richardson, a thumbs up for a $190-million bond package for public buildings, streets, sidewalks, drainage and parks.
Allen ISD voters rejected two multi-million dollar bond issues for improvements to schools and athletic facilities.
Tarrant county voters said yes to $400 million in bonds for streets and roads, but rejected a proposal to upgrade the district attorney’s office.
