Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – The online hack-tivist group known as Anonymous has struck again; this time allegedly targeting the Texas GOP in the release of “private documents.”
It was the third in a series of attacks dubbed “Operation EPIK FAIL” The hacks began in mid-September in reaction to the Lone Star State’s ban on nearly all abortions, according to ‘Info-security- magazine-dot-com.
The initial leaks affected the web-hosting company EPIK. Its customers include far-right websites like Parler,Gab, 8CHAN, and TheDonald.
A Twitter post by user @stevanzetti, who bio info states that he is a contributor to multiple publications allegedly details the hack:
