Southwest Airlines to Mandate Employees be Vaccinated Against Covid

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas-based Southwest Airlines will be mandating its workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

This follows United and other U.S.-based airlines making the same decision.

CEO Gary Kelly said in a statement that Southwest must join our industry peers in complying with the federal government’s directive.

This will affect 60,000 employees.

Employees will be able to apply for exemptions.
