(MCKINNEY (WBAP/KLIF) – Due to an electrical outage, the Collin County Courthouse is closed to the public and employees on Monday.
“We are currently experiencing an electrical outage at the Collin County Courthouse that includes all escalators, elevators, fire pumps, and chilled water pumps,” the county said in statement released Monday morning. “County staff are responding to the outage at this time, but they advise that it will take some time to assess the situation and restore power.”
The County said employees may enter the building to retrieve personal items, but the building is be closed for work.
