Hundreds of Haitians and Other Migrants Transported to Houston

Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – According to a tweet from KHOU- Houston reporter Adam Bennett who is covering the migrant crisis in Del Rio a Texas non-profit “has arranged transportation for migrants, 95% of whom are Haitian” to be transported to Houston.

About 500 of the migrants who entered Texas illegally arrived in Houston on Wednesday, with 500 more expected to arrive today.

A Del Rio nonprofit called Val Verde Border Humanitarian Coalition is arranging transportation for these migrants, about 95% of whom are Haitian. One official told me this bus is going to Houston, with more leaving later today. @KHOU https://t.co/B2nMeORSrX

Others arriving in Houston are from Cuba, countries in Africa and Venezuela, according to KENS5 reporter Anastacia Bolton during an interview with our media partner WFAA-TV. Houston may not be the final destination for some.
