Hundreds of Haitians and Other Migrants Transported to Houston

Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – According to a tweet from KHOU- Houston reporter Adam Bennett who is covering the migrant crisis in Del Rio a Texas non-profit “has arranged transportation for migrants, 95% of whom are Haitian” to be transported to Houston.

About 500 of the migrants who entered Texas illegally arrived in Houston on Wednesday, with 500 more expected to arrive today.

Others arriving in Houston are from Cuba, countries in Africa and Venezuela, according to KENS5 reporter Anastacia Bolton during an interview with our media partner WFAA-TV. Houston may not be the final destination for some.
