DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – If you are thinking about buying a house, get ready to fork over a load of cash for the down payment.
Homebuyers in the area are shelling out close to $40,000 in down payments, according to research done by LendingTree.
That is an all time high for the area, but still bellow the national average in the 50 largest metro areas of just over $46,000.
DFW home prices in July were up 16-percent when compared to the same time last year.
