DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Fort Worth ISD is now having to deal with thousands of students in quarantine. More than 5,000 students and teachers in the school district are having to stay home after being exposed to COVID-19. Over the past week, some 72 district staff and more than 450 kids tested positive for the corona virus. Under the district’s COVID-19 protocols, anyone with the virus must quarantine until 10 days have passed, if they are asymptomatic. Fort Worth students returned to class Aug. 16.
