(WBAP/KLIF) — The decision by the Biden administration to halt construction of the border wall has prompted a lawsuit from the Texas Land Commissioner.
The results of an open border policy has devastated Texas border towns and exposed the Lone Star state to a surge in COVID-19. Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush says his suit against the federal government is not his only recourse. Bush continues his push to sue the federal government over halting construction of a border wall.
The son of Jeb Bush shared why he is suing the Biden administration for the illegal smuggling, migrants, and drugs hurting the residents of Texas. More than 212,000 migrants were apprehended in the month of July. Bush also spoke on “Fox News Primetime” to discuss his plans to work with Governor Greg Abbott to finish the border wall.
