FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Due to Tarrant County’s current designation as an area of “High Transmission,” TCU will require that face masks be worn in all indoor campus spaces to help protect the health and safety of our community, effective immediately. This includes all indoor common areas such as classrooms and meeting and event spaces. Disposable masks are readily available at primary building entrances.
“We encourage all Horned Frogs to get the COVID-19 vaccine if they are able and ask that they confirm their vaccine with TCU. This will help us in the testing/tracing process. Currently, vaccinated individuals with no symptoms are NOT required to quarantine if exposed to COVID-19,” said a statement on the TCU Website.
The TCU Brown-Lupton Health Center is offering free COVID-19 vaccines from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, no appointment required.
“We are ready to be together—and want to stay together. Doing so requires that we all commit to Protect the Purple to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect our community. If you are sick or experiencing COVID-19-related symptoms, stay home and get tested.”
Information about testing, screening and reporting a positive test can be found on the Protect the Purple website.
TCU will continue to monitor county transmission and confirmed vaccinations in our community. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe.
