Quadruple East Texas Murder, A Gun Deal Gone Bad

(WBAP/KLIF) — New information was released, Thursday, about a quadruple murder near New Summerfield earlier this week.

Authorities say the three men charged in the fatal shooting of four people at a home in East Texas had arranged to purchase a gun from one of the victims.

However, Jesse Pawlowski, Billy Phillips and Dylan Welch decided, instead, to steal the gun from the victim. according to police 18-year-old John Clinton thought he was selling a gun to the men, but was shot and killed in the driveway.

The three men have been charged with capital murder in the killings and are each being held on a $1-million bond.
